Creating a target portal group
If you want to employ multi-connection iSCSI sessions to improve performance and reliability, then you must use target portal groups to define the interfaces available for each iSCSI session.
Steps
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system to display a subtree of management features.
2.
Click Configuration > Protocols > iSCSI.
3.
If the appropriate tab is not displayed, click Portal Groups.
4.
Click Create.
5.
Type the name of the target portal group and select the numeric tag for the portal group.
If you leave the tag field blank, the system assigns the next available tag value.
6.
Select the interfaces to include in the target portal group and click Create.
